Ive used the older model for years, one thing with the previous model that annoyed me was the velcro strap would always wear away, as well as the material in the palm of your hand. The velcro strap on this model as much better, smaller amount of velcro, but just better attachment. Material around the palm of the hand has been updated that will see it not wear away as quick. Overall very happy with it, same sizing as previous model just with all around improvements where they were needed.
