Cut down service was quick and a easy service to use through Savage field hockey.
My daughter is still getting used to this stick but she absolutely loves it. And dealing with Savage field hockey for purchases was great as they were very responsive with any questions I had.

Fits well, solid protection, easy to adjust, stays in place. Ordered this and used this abdominal guard (aka jock/cup) just recently. Highly recommend this as standard gear for GKs. Will see how many season(s) it lasts but looks well made and is comfortable.

UPS lost the package the first time, but Savage Field Hockey quickly shipped a 2nd set that got here in time. The gloves are the perfect size and exactly what my daughter needs to play.

A big fan of Mercian, so took a gamble on the new Solid Core model! Its crazy how lighter it is and still has awesome power. Love the new head shape which lets you get under the ball for lifts and 3D skills. My new favorite
Having been an OBO user for nearly 3 decades I was getting unhappy with their high costs and a drop in quality and so I was looking to branch out. Being in the US means we are more restricted than other parts of the world for different brands but I was glad to find Savage Field Hockey.
Before buying I had some questions and the staff at Savage were very quick and helpful in their replies.
I have since ordered the new legguards, kickers and hand protectors and cannot be happier.
They are so much lighter than my old Robo plus making movement around the goal so much quicker and the rebound is unbelievable and makes me feel like I have super powers.
They do take some getting used to and I had to amend my sliding and kicking slightly to compensate but totally worth it.
Another feature that I like is that after 6 months of using and in some very intense movement games the front toe strap has not come over my toes yet which was a common issue over 38 years with my old pads.
I ordered a pair of gloves and had them sent to a friend. They never arrived, so I called Savage. They answered... early in the morning. After an informative series of emails, they promptly sent another pair to my home address. Thanks for your attentiveness. Oh, and the gloves are great.
I ordered field hockey gloves on 1/3/2025. Tracking told me a label was created on that day as well and it was being mailed by the USPS as Priority mail. My order made it to Kansas City, MO on January 7, 2025. Nothing further from tracking - it is now 1/12/2025. Where is my order? Most disturbing set of
circumstances!
As soon as I submitted the above not so pleasant review-as Savage had asked me to review the gloves I had not even received-I received a very pleasant email and an apology from Gwyn Savage regarding my circumstances. We emailed back and forth a few times and I ended up with another very heartfelt apology and a refund of my purchase money along with wishes for the appearance of said gloves.
As Gwyn mentioned in one of her emails, I should have contacted the company directly if I was having issues/questions about my order. I believe that Savage Field Hockey is an upstanding small business (and I totally support small businesses as much as possible) that did not deserve a "one star"rating. Note to self-a lot of good can come with quiet and clear communication. My thanks to Gwyn and may her company continue to offer "five star" customer service !
